Camp Celebration Sunday

Join us on Sunday June 27, 2010 at the camp for the official kick-off of the summer. There will be presentations from our summer staff and board of directors, music, fellowship and food as supporters of the camp gather together to celebrate the ministry and learn about the upcoming summer. The camp will be open all day long and you are welcome to come spend the day on site enjoying the beautiful surrounding on which the camp is set. 22nd Annual Fundraising Banquet A Success!

The Camp Nutimik Board and Banquet Organizing Committee, led by Michael Streuber, are very pleased to announce that the amount of money raised from this banquet (after costs) totaled $73,470!

Those who attended this event are aware that a challenge was given by an anonymous donor that evening who offered to match all gifts given for this fund raiser up to a maximum of $50,000. In fact, the banquet related donations and pledges were $33,030 and this amount was then matched. Praise the Lord! It is the wish of the anonymous donor that the matching funds be utilized for capital projects required by the camp. We were also very encouraged by the generous sponsorships which amounted to $11,750, more than offsetting the cost of the event.

The goal for this banquet was $50,000. We are so encouraged by the generosity of all those who donated to this wonderful ministry. God is great!

We look forward to sharing more information with you over the next few months as the Camp ramps up for the summer and capital projects are identified.

Camp Workdays

Thank-you to all of the volunteers who have taken the time to come out on our workdays this past spring and fall. We have accomplished a lot of necessary work that would not have been able to be completed without your help. Dates for workdays in 2010 are now posted.
